Anna Yakusheva
Ukrainian-born artist based in the UK.
Working in her signature technique of Quantum Collage — a fusion of watercolor, magazine fragments, handwritten texts, and universal symbols — she explores psycho-emotional states, identity, and the search for meaning.
Rooted in her personal journey, her works blend mystical and conceptual layers into visual metaphors, opening a universal dialogue — each viewer finds their own story mirrored in the layers of image and symbol.
"I create to awaken meaning. To touch what cannot be said, but can be felt. To return — to myself and to the source". — AY

INSIDE THE STUDIO
In my studio each work begins as a dialogue with materials, memory, and time. Watercolor becomes the foundation of the process — a medium that is fluid, unpredictable, and free by its very nature, following its own movement and logic.
I complement the work with fragments of magazines and existing images, treating them as traces of lived visual experience. From what was once created, I form something new with a different rhythm, a different breath, and a renewed sense. This circular movement within the process is essential to my practice. It speaks not only of the transformation of images, but also of an attentive and ecological relationship with the world and the flow of information around us.
Nothing disappears without a trace. Everything can be reimagined...
